Description and demonstration of the features and functions of the Luxor TR 75 S wire recorder, manufactured in Sweden. This machine was brought out in the early 1950's, before magnetic tape had become the primary medium for recording, and was intended for home, not professional, use. This particular machine is actually a deck, with no power amplifier or built-in speaker, and must be connected to a radio or other amplifier in order to produce sound.

Nice demo-video. As a swedish accordionist and folk musician, it was extra nice to hear the song you played! It's "Vals ombord" (in english "Waltz onboard") sung by the swedish iconic singer-songwriter, Evert Taube. Thanks for a very good video!

Veldig interessent for meg som bor i Norge. Trådopptakere solgte sjeldent her, jeg er ganske sikker på at det er fordi Tandberg introduserte Båndopptakeren i stedet for trådspilleren. Fin maskin, skulle gjerne ha hatt en sånn;)
