This Axopar 45 XC Aft Cabin is the biggest aft cabin boat that the Finnish brand has ever made. Does this make it the most usable Axopar ever?

In this walkthrough tour and review shot during the 2023 Düsseldorf Boat Show, Jack Haines sees if this is the most comfortable cruising boat in the impressive Axopar line-up.

The 45 is available with a variety of different deck layouts, including an open aft deck, storage module, U-shaped seating or with a sun pad, below which is the double aft cabin.

You can also have the 45 with the enclosed wheelhouse, as an open boat or with a variety of T-tops that offer differing amounts of protection on deck. As with the other models in the Axopar range, the fully enclosed variant is likely to prove popular.

The boat is only available with triple 300hp outboard engines, which push it to a top speed of 45 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots where it’s consuming just 4 litres per nautical mile.

Do you think this is the best version of the Axopar 45? Let us know in the comments.

Nice video Jack.
Thank you for taking the time to do it.
I went to Dusserdorf Boat Show and I visited this boat. I loved it. It is truly packed with innovative solutions.

That is exactly the one I want. Was watching your vid of the prototype just last night and thinking that I wished it had the aft cabin. This is so much nicer now it has the proper finishes. Including the hob indoors and the wetbar outside. Just add the little loo! So now I have to buy this, the Marex 33 and the Pearl 72. Wonder if the bank will oblige! Love your reviews!!

Personally I’d have a regular bathroom shower not wet and extend front get rid of front bed put in a nice comfortable u shapped couch with storage make the shitter locker a battery storage area no need for generator

That was a good whistle stop review Jack 👍

TBH not sure about these, they’re bold and different, probably ideal for the Med but personally not convinced. Each to their own I guess.

Does it have a generator option? Apparently, none of the other Axopars do.

These Axopar are so sexy from the outside and the GA probably works for their customers. I always expect it being more like Sargo 45.

Dang I thought it was the 37 🤦.
I like this a lot but I'd choose the 37 xc as a weekend runabout when my 2023 S72 is being serviced. 👍❤️🇬🇧

I have 4 kids, so the aft cabin would be a huge necessity. But I would save money and get the Everglades or spwnd the money and do a Boston Whaler Outrage, maybe the Grady White. I'm cheap though so a Sargo or Tiara, maybe another brand I can't remember now.

Just don't get why anyone would choose this over a Sargo or Botnia Targa
