When I was a child - about 5 or 6 years old - my Dad got mad at the preacher of the church we were going to. I was too young to understand the reasons. I loved Sunday School and wanted to keep going, but I wasn't allowed to go to that church, understandably. Next door to our house was a Nazarene church. I was allowed to go there until I turned 10. We lived in a small town where everyone knew everyone and it was next door, so safe and easy. I attended faithfully though no one else in the family did. I never learned how to be saved. We had no Pastor of our own, one visited once a month from another town. I learned some basic stories and Bible verses. I still have the Bible I got for not missing a Sunday in an entire year. I thought I would go to Heaven because I was good, and I loved God. It wasn't until years later when I began to realize as a young teen that I was not good enough to get to Heaven. I knew God wouldn't let a sinner in. But I didn't know what to do. I began praying that God would show me. He answered my prayer by sending a real Christian my way. At 15 I trusted The Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. I married the guy who told me the truth - when we were 20. That man is now my Pastor. 😀

I remember going to the Methodist church all my life as a child, teen, married and no more. There is no Global Methodist Church in my area. How sad the churches have let Satan take over so many denominations. But alas, God's word still goes out irregardless of what happens in these churches. Praise always to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Love and blessings to all.

Thank you for posting this and I'd like to say that when I heard what the reporter had to say at the 1:45 mark regarding the United Methodist church, I was particularly reminded of the scene from Revelation 11, where after the two prophets are killed, those who dwell on Earth will rejoice over them and celebrate by sending gifts to each other, because those two prophets had tormented those who dwell on Earth.

I was temporarily a member of the Ecumenical Lutheran Church of America. I am no longer a member due to the fact that one day I mentioned to my Pastor that because God didn't approve of a certain thing, I couldn't approve of it either. The pastor looked me square in the eyes and said, "Sometimes the Bible doesn't mean what it says." I looked at him like he had lost his every loving mind and said, "Thank you." I walked out of the church and I haven't been back in that church since that day (over 40 years).

Really good vid and needed. I think the problem is most people rely on someone else to teach them about God's Word instead of reading and studying for themselves, then find a church that follows God's Word specifically and not what the world wants the church to be.

I don't know much about different churches but my small missionary Baptist church preaches the Bible hard and stand against wokeism crap. We're tiny but Spirit filled. So Many people today are looking for a social connection instead of a God connection. Our church is not a prestigious church where you would go to see and be seen.

I am thankful and proud of all the churches that left the Methodist denomination because they are opposed to the same-sex lifestyle. They are right on track with the Bible

Former SBC pastor here: I pastored one of the largest SBC churches in America. SBC is now a mess. I walked away several years ago in favor of doing-one-on-one evangelism.

Amen brother. I took my family out of the SBC years ago and we're now in a solid Bible Church. My family has been Southern Baptist for a hundred years so it was tough but I saw the writing on the wall.
