How to Convert Events Into Automation Clips In FL Studio

In this FL Studio beginner tutorial, I will show you how to convert events into automation clips. Recorded automation shows up as events in FL Studio. Most people prefer to work with automation clips though. Fortunately, recorded events can easily be converted into automation clips in FL Studio.
FL Studio has two kinds of automation: Events and automation clips. They both have their strengths and weaknesses. Events will usually be contained in the piano roll along with the notes being automated, but it can also be present in the playlist as a separate event clip. Automation clips are more similar to how automation works in most DAWs, and you can easily draw lines etc.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to record into an automation clip in FL Studio. Anything you record will show up as an event, so it can be very useful to know how to record events into automation clips.

I would love to see a track "build from scratch" series from you. Since you have actual releases, it would be really cool to kind of see your entire workflow stretched over a few videos.

It would probably take quite a bit of work, but one of the complaints that I see on reddit is that there are very few professional level people on youtube that kind of show their entire process, and it even less inside a genre that is notoriously hard to mix like trance.

I have a question. Lets say i make a chord progression in pattern 1 using morphine. Now in pattern 2 i want to record a solo using morphine again while playing the pattern 1 in playlist. But i click the record button the chord progression starts playing but as soon as i start to play the solo the pattern 1 stops. How can i fix it ?
