Sets of Numbers #4 - Rationals, What's a Fraction?, Operations, Important Rules and Ordering

Today we would like to talk about the Rational Numbers and we are going to explore the basic operations. Addition, multiplication, division, subtraction of fractions. Other than that, we are interested in introducing the associativity, commutativity, distributivity as well as the (strict) order relations! And what exactly are a fraction, the numerator and denominator? Enjoy! =D

Hey flammy. I saw a video of yours that was releaseda year ago with the title"most students can't solve this one"in which you talked about constructing a tangent to a circle by a compass and a straight edge.I would like to tell my way(it can be wrong)(just a high schooler) So on the given circle take two points and join them to get a resultant chord. (it may not be a diameter). Apart from these two take another point on the circle. Let the chord be AB and the point be C. So we join AC and BC. To get angle BCA. Now with AB as base we draw angle ABD in the opposite side of BCA. AD is the resultant tangent. (we may need a protractor) but I will look for a better way without a protractor and let you know soon.
