I remember being an exchange student in the US a couple years ago and loving the library in the school. I had never had access to so many novels and books, but surprisingly enough the most popular book saga, Harry Potter, was missing. Even I had it in the little school library in my home country, I would like to add that my school is Catholic run by nuns and founded by a saint over 100 years ago. So I asked one of the students about it, and she deadpan said to me "yeah the school board banned it because they think it's promoting witch craft" . I laughed so hard, I thought it was the best answer ever, and then I realized she was being serious. America you never stop surprising me.
