Police to check journalists operating illegally

The police has revealed that it will enforce the Uganda Media Council directives which require journalists especially those involved in covering political activities in this campaign season to obtain accredited cards from the media council.

They say the enforcement will be effected after 21 December, the deadline set by the Media Council.
