Thank you! My friend and I are playing through in anticipation of Wilds and to keep our skills sharp. We just got to Iceborne and headed straight for this event quest on your recommendation. 1:02 really smooth transition for boking the Goku

I play CB, HH and Lance. By the time I did this quest (I was at about the point you fight tigrex in iceborne story) the guild palace lance was worse than the kulu ya ku rarity 10 lance, and I believe the guild palace CB was also worse than the one I had then (I believe viper tobi kadachi). However the guild palace hunting horn was the best in slot for that point and I used it to Solo BV Vaal Hazak Velkhana, Teostra and Namielle. So I would say if you want a specific guild palace weapon maybe check its stats first to see if it is worth it to do this quest early on, as it takes more like 45 minutes, not 10. If the weapon isnt worth it maybe wait till you are high level then do the quest more easily to get the guild palace weapon and upgrade it to rarity 12, maybe then it will be better.

I remember ore charge blade is enough for storyline. Build is odogaron for sharpening and sharpness protection, plus focus skill parts.

After the final boss, do teostra beta master touch parts with Damascus body and Yian leg. If someone helps for quests replace the leg and weapon with raging branchy. Then do fatalis.

Ice weapon for alatreon is from frost fang, try kirin coil for blight resis and max out ice attack. Do not SAEd because it is an impact cb.

I used the layered guild weapon great sword because of how cool it looks with my armor

when putting together together element builds, I noticed there aren't a lot of options for water builds (aside for the Kjarr weapons which I've yet to get XD). The Only good water weapons I've seen are from Coral Pukie Pukie and the Palace Guard weapons if you use the Release Skill, I haven't tried it out yet but I do wanna try them to see if they make good choices for water builds

The weapons for this quests are pretty good considering their accessibility. However, for LS users, I find that doing the USJ quests for the Azure Era LS is a better alternative as a weapon. Not sure what MR level that quest is available though.
