The first minutes, Popeye was voiced by Jack Mercer...but in the remaining minutes...voiced by Harry Welch . During the voice and animation production, Jack Mercer was doing service in the U.S. armed forces! The second World War was long over at the time this cartoon was released.

Later in 1953, the 3D Ace of Space, Popeye was again disintegrated by a different set of Martians ( who look like Shrek) but again .. Spinach restored him quickly!
