Not everybody wants the thinest laptop. Some people (like me) want a thicker chassis so the laptop could have the best cooling and performance.

Paid on 8 June for the i7 3080 x17 and now it’s still not even in production. Please post when you’re ready to sell. Don’t be such an NVIDIA.

Hello, tnx for great video!
I just ordered one with 3080.
I am now using an Alienware 17 R5 laptopI also engraved Croatian characters with it and the backlight is visible where they laser engraved the characters.
I am interested in whether the backlight will be visible on the new device Alienware x17 after the new characters are engraved?
Or another method of backlighting has been used on the new laptop and it is only visible where it is currently located and will not be visible if the laser engraves new characters.

My keyboards "c" button didn't work when I took it out of the box. Sucks after waiting so long for it to come. 🤣🤣 Hopefully this repair order won't take too long to get back into my hands.

Very disappointed that all models don’t have advanced optimous, or at least a mux switch. At this price point that is very sad.

And no explanation as to why the cpu performance on the unit is not great at all compared with others of it’s class. Activate the mux for all panel types and it may get better in terms of performance… or leave it crippled

The first iteration of this new space design Alienware was totally unpleasant to me. This subtle change is a bit bearable but still it is a total downgrade from previous designs. 👎😖
