For those of you who want to know where this is, it's deep in the desert, locked behind a very long quest chain, the main quest is called "Golden Slumber". You'll have to meet new NPCs and clear a lot of ruins before you can access this.

The thing that absolutely gutted me about the oasis is how we only start hearing the instruments after Liloupar says that by entering, we disrupted whatever powers were keeping it up, and now it will eventually fall apart. We witnessed this mesmerising place, but the very fact of witnessing it started its slow but inevitable eventual ruin. I love the quests that make you go "was it really worth it?".
