I wrote a debtors system in 1992 with Turbo Basic and sold it to a client.
32000 lines of code and 34 modules.
I'm currently developing a new Basic Code Editor. Release should be Q3 2024.

Oh, that would have been nice when I switched from C64 to PC.
You know, some microcomputers like the C64 booted directly into BASIC, while in others you had to load it first. I got used to it eventually, for at first the DOS command prompt gave this "you need to load BASIC manually" vibe. That, together with the shorter file names, made the PC feel oddly inferior to the C64, apart from being faster.
I got over the culture shock when I later switched to Turbo Pascal and got to know DOS better, but Turbo Basic sure would have helped to give the PC a professional vibe from the start. :)

I bought my copy of Turbo Basic back in the spring of 1987. I paid $100 for it.
