Would be weird if after this they released a game that had a badass cutscene showing off deathwatch fighting tyranids

This is an army that scream 'Use Legends Units' afterall it is NOT a tournament focused army just play the fun units.
I know someone is going to take an agents list to a tournament for the memes, and win as noone has built a list against them .. but the point stands.

I really hope they get a proper wave in 11th edition! It’d be cool to have a proper centerpiece model for instance. Or at least improve the Synergy with Sisters/GK/DW.

I'm doing a Naval themed army. Sadly will probably have to take at least one DWKT, but mostly going to focus on breachers, Voidsmen-at-arms, and arbites.

I kinda wish they just expanded Death Watch instead of making this haphazard mess.

I just wanted to play Deathwatch. Now I’ll never be able to. Built the army only to find out it’s gone

Subductor Squad - 85 (Infiltrate, CO unit choice 3)

Death Watch Vets - 200
Watch Master - 105

Eversor Assassin - 110

Freeblade Armiger Warglavie - 150
Freeblade Armiger Warglavie - 150
Freeblade Armiger Warglavie - 150

2000 points.

I'm sure if the Corvus Blackstar falls out of favour I will replace it with a second Assassin and a Navigator perhaps... One of my Warglavies is a Karamazov conversion!

I start building an Inquisition army before the book was announced, and I wasn't far off.
Terminators I got for it are now Legends, but that can go with my Legends Inquisitor in Terminator Armour, my Legends Jokaero and my Legends Daemonhost 😅

Personally I love this codex. As a non-competitive player (only friendly games at home), who has ultramarines and necron armies, I’ve used this codex to build a small themed attachment to add to my ultramarine army. Inquisitor Draxus to lead them, with 6x inquisitorial agents, and the Chimera for transport, Watch Captain Artemis (kit-bashed from the captain from company heroes box), 6x Deathwatch Kill Team (converted from primaris intercessors box, both using parts from the deathwatch upgrade sprue and kill team box), the Corvus Blackstar, Vindicare Assassin, 10x Vigilant Arbites, and Rhino for transport. That’s 860 points using 3x characters, 3x Retinue plus dedicated transport as per the army rule.
The Arbites are maybe not entirely in theme but love the minis and it’s my made-up world!
I suppose whether or not you like the codex depends on how you use the hobby, it would certainly be difficult to build a complete army from it, but just as a bit of fun and a few themed extras to add to an already built imperial army, and an excuse to build minis that appeal personally, it’s great!

My local dealer offered me to get the Ordo Hereticus.
Even though it would have been a good deal, I noticed that GW made the vehicle unavailable just to put it in that box. I declined, and my dealer approved.

The best way to get some anti armor is bring Rex, there your done. If you dont want him, bring some Armagers. Done again. The rest is up to you.

How to start an Imperium Agent army:

1. Don't even think of it

The best way, is to just not.

Have we not learned the pump n dump cycle yet? They’ll abandon imperial agents as soon as the next edition comes in. Then what?

Thanks for the video. I will use them in one way..to play them in boarding patrol. A lot of cool themes you can do there

Step 1. Buy genestealer cult

Step 2. Enjoy the miss gw made to make agents possible with cultists and enjoy grey knights defending their 4armed masters

Goddamn, this feels so badly cobbled together. No army there. Damn you GW.

My Imperialis Fleet detachment is having a ton of fun right now in crusade and casual. And that is totally fine with me!

Necromunda miniatures make for great Inquisition Agents with a bit of work, while their Palanites make for suitable alternatives for the Arbites.
