Weh! Mkuru you are such a great teacher. You need to start giving pop quizzes at the end of your clip for gifts...eg free or discounted tickets to your shows or regalia zako. Yani I have learned a lot from your episodes especially pertaining aeronautics. Keep bringing us more stories..

Shukrani sana mkuru. Am Aeronautical engineer. Whenever I watch your stories, mostly za aviation I always feel at home🥳🥳🥳.
I like vile umedescribe hio story na FOHE. "Look at this hand na uone kama duct fuel inapitia" movement ya mikono yako ilinijaz sana.😂😂😂. Uko top sana💯💯💯

But kuna vile umemix concept ya ACM na FOHE.
FOHE uses heat of oil while ACM uses heat of bleed air.

Some metal chips were identified on the first engine whose source couldn't be confirmed. Transat Air called Rolls Royce headquarters at Hongkong for a loan engine. The second engine didn't miss a hydraulic pump, the service bulletin for the second engine was a bit different from the previous version since it was a newer modified model. The new engine was slightly bigger compared to the previous, Transat called Roll's Royce and they were advised accordingly.
They reused the hydraulic line from the previous engine did a ground test and a green flag for airborne was approved for the Flight from Toronto, Canada to Lisbon, Portugal. What caused the fuel loss was a rapture on the fuel line caused by friction between the fuel line and the hydraulic line which were very close after the second engine installation. It was estimated that the plane was loosing over 12 tonnes per hour.

Aki, it really hurts me to learn that human error was the reason for this near tragedy ( and many others 😢)
Thanks, Mkuru, for the narration 🫡
