I just got this but the door sensor never works and the lock doesn’t auto lock. Any advice?

Hi there!
I use to have the previous version of that lock and the only cons I got form it is that I believe it should have a rechargeable battery and a door sensor, I am so glad the new one has the door sensor but it still missing the rechargeable battery!
After that it will definitely the undefeatable best of all and the only one real "smartlock"

Wifi build in or the wifi adapter, which one has a better connection? or is the same? Mine takes longer to connect.

Any issues with your fingerprint not “waking up the unit” ? I experienced this on the old unit. Also, did you try the door sensor on a metal door? It says it won’t work but I’m curious if it will

We had one, and it broken less than 18 months. Good design but bad quality. We asked the company for a replacement, they only offer 30% to buy a new one and only send to USA. So disappointed. Will not use their product again. Maybe try Yale or Eufy.

Not yet ready for prime time. I bought one 4 months ago and it has been nothing but trouble. Setting up the wifi connection is hit-or-miss; it only connects to a 2.4 GHz network; it occasionally loses settings; recently stopped working altogether, and though battery level was reported as ok, changing the batteries restored function; frequently it will stop allowing remote connections and I have to totally reset everything and start from scratch to get it working again (and with the hit-or-miss wifi setup, that is particularly painful); etc, etc. Phone support is non-existent -- phone support puts you in a phone tree for 10 minutes, then offers to call you back if you leave information, but they never actually call you back. The ideas behind this are great, as is the fingerprint detector, but they brought it to market before they had all the bugs worked out. Fail.

I think he’s showing the old model as it has a WiFi adapter that has to be plugged in. The new model has WiFi built in and does have a shorter battery life.

The door sensor is terrible. Does not work no matter how many times reinstalled or repaired. Second house i know that i just have to not rely on door sensor. Such a frustration.

3 - 4 battery changes in only a year??? That's atrocious and annoying as hell.

3-4 battery changes is way too much. I can do 1 a year. That and the color is my only complaint. They should have made one that is stainless steel so it will match my existing door handle.
