When I play smoker on Abyss, I like to plant tightly to the box on the lane with the jump on B site, play behind the big piller and if there is someone else alive on my team I make him watch rope, so I can't get flanked, after that, I wait for them to tap, I put a smoke on top of the box, making a one-way on the spike and then take the easy win

Some of my favorite plant spots on each map:

Abyss A: Propping it up on the ledge behind the bridge. It’s open to literally everything and the defuse radius is stupid small.
Abyss B: Up against bookcase. Super open and wall bangable.
Haven A: Same as in video
Haven B: main but make sure you plant far out instead of against the generator so it’s open to C link and A link as well.
Haven C: up against platform. Open to everything.
Bind A: Very top right corner, facing left. Open to literally everything. Never lost a post plant if I got this one down. (Though getting full site control on Bind A site is hard)
Bind B: Propped up against the tube, like in the video.
Ascent B: in the middle of the two doorways in boathouse. Easily defendable from lane and CT.
Ascent A: Bottom right corner against the wooden box pillar. Open to heaven, tree, and main.
Pearl A and B: Same as in video
Sunset B: Middle of default facing left. Defendable from market and main. Although planting on the newly added ledge is good too.
Sunset A: Top right corner, facing the stairs. Easily defendable from anywhere.
Split: Same as in video.

Even in the tutorial it tells you to plant behind the three boxes on B site, Ascent but apparently it's the worst spot to plant on the site lmao. 😂

7:13 wouldnt planting it a bit towards the attacker side be better? I dont mean the safe plant, like, you see that little space there below the spike on the map? Doesn't planting there make it more possible to play post plant even in back b? And yes, I know they are gonna clear back b.

Take statistics with a grain of salt as always, because there will inevitably be biases. Notably, the usage frequency of the planting spots. Less common planting spots may get higher winrates simply because it's been used 10 times and won 7 of them compared to common spots being used 1000 times and winning 680 of them
