Online move to ‘cancel’ actress Blake Lively

Sky News host Rita Panahi says there is a move online to “cancel” Actress Blake Lively.

Ms Panahi says this comes as rumours of “onset drama” between her and her ‘It Ends with Us’ co-stars “continue to swirl”.

“Not only is Blake being accused of undermining her director and co-star Justin Baldoni, but she’s also apparently glossing over the film’s dark themes of domestic violence, she’s accused of being flippant with journalists who are asking serious questions about the subject matter,” Ms Panahi said.

“There’s also old clips remerging of her being rude to reporters.”

She's been marketing her new movie about DV, as though it's Barbie, making the focus on flowers, fashion, and her launch of hair products, and brushes off questions related to the serious matter of DV. Its gross.

The recent surfacing of interviews highlights her bad character.
Her interview with Kjersti Flaa in particular show's that she is rude, self-absorbed, entitled, mean, and shallow.

She has shown her true colours. She's not the 'nice girl' she makes out to be and im glad people are calling it out.

I am shocked that Sky News is taking this so lightly. I usually watch u guys since u are bang on about what is going on with the world and are not afraid to call out people for what they are. You need to be updated on this. You need to see her interviews, not just the past ones but the ones about this very movie. If you can call out Meghan Markle for using Invictus Games as a platform for a fashion parade.. please call out Blake for using a movie about DV to portray herself as a “strong woman lead” meanwhile being extremely rude when asked to comment regarding victims who may approach her after watching the movie. While I understand that everyone has a right not to be political and remain just an artist.. but then don’t do a movie where you take a lead on a project single handedly which deals with such a sensitive topic and centre it only on fashion, florals, rings, being a virgo, jokes, Ryan Reynolds (the husband who interviews the love interest and is being a funny jealous husband to promote a movie about a not so funny jealous abusive husband), Hugh Jackman (who also joins the husband in the interview alongwith the MIL), and hair products. I would respect her 10 times more if she would have in fact done a rom com and done all of this while promoting that movie. No one had an issue when she promoted herself during her gossip girl era since that was what the show demanded. It worked for the show. But to come to the forefront and demand to be taken seriously because of the central topic of the DV aspect of the script and then throw it out of the window for all of this is what comes out to be hypocritical. Thats why people are objecting now. I am a fan of Rita but I am shocked that she hasn’t done her background check before speaking about this. Expected better from the channel which always calls a spade a spade. Or atleast CALLED a spade a spade.

Everyone deserves a "one off" but this is apparently a pattern with Blake Lively.
For me, it was Blake's obvious enjoyment when she turned the interviewers innocent questions into fodder for her being insulted. You can see the pleasure she got off on it.
"Poor Blake" give me a break already. I don't know how to explain to you that you should care for how other people feel.

And I can't picture other actresses behaving this bad. Scarlet Johansson...Sandra Bullock...they know when to turn up and be "cute and funny" and when to take their craft seriously and show work ethic.
