Here is the Pocket Poets edition of Lord Byron: Poems published by the Everyman's Library.

*ABOUT THE AUTHOR*

George Gordon Byron, 6th Baron Byron, FRS (22 January 1788 – 19 April 1824), commonly known simply as Lord Byron, was an English poet, peer, politician, and a leading figure in the Romantic movement. He is regarded as one of the greatest British poets and remains widely read and influential. Among his best-known works are the lengthy narrative poems, Don Juan and Childe Harold's Pilgrimage, and the short lyric poem, "She Walks in Beauty".

He travelled extensively across Europe, especially in Italy, where he lived for seven years in Venice, Ravenna and Pisa, where he had a chance to frequent his friend the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley. Later in his brief life, Byron joined the Greek War of Independence fighting the Ottoman Empire, for which Greeks revere him as a national hero.He died in 1824 at the age of 36 from a fever contracted while in Missolonghi. *BINDING & PAPER*

The book is cloth bound in a burgundy coloured cloth, with a gold ribbon. It is NOT smyth-sewn but instead, sadly... glued in a perfect binding. The paper is thick, acid-free, pH neutral paper.

*CONTENT*

"The volume includes a selection from the early lyrics and epigrams, several verse letters, and substantial extracts from Byron’s comic masterpiece Don Juan in which he satirizes his own reputation as an amorist." [2]

They used glued binding to save money because it's only around ~250 pages, so there's no high risk of it cracking.

I have 41 Everyman's Library editions in my library- including literature, history, and several of the Children's Classics series; and ALL of them are SEWEN bindings. I feel for the price and quality, these are the best thing next to Folio Society available.

How much would you recommend Everyman's Library? I've not got any books from them yet and I'm wondering if they're really worth it; I do like the size to be sure.

I've seen other people online say that even some of the normal everyman's library editions have glued spines. Have you had any of these yourself? THanks for video
