Walking in Şirince/Izmir, Turkey, Summer 2021

Hi everyone,

We made this video walking in the picturesque village of Şirince which is about 8 km from Selçuk and located South of Izmir and East of Kuşadası. You can easily reach Şirince from Selçuk by dolmus, they run very frequently and until late at night. The single ride costs 5 TL.

The village is famous for its old stone houses and for its wine testing which you can experience in many of the local shops. In fact the whole village is full of artisan shops, restaurants, and cafes. And there is even an old church in the center which is open for visitors. Even though Şirince is quite small it attracts lots of tourists every year and is quite known in the region and beyond.
