There was a comparison of the Ultra vs Pro, not a comparison to the JVC installed in your HT. Such a comparison would have been revealing regarding relative black levels.

Thanks for the review, but there are some serious errors here. It's not native 4K. It's 1080p with pixel shift. Also, you mention 18ms latency, although all other reviews have mentioned this is more like 35ms. Some research would have highlighted this very quickly.

I'm not sure why this is a "dont buy this, until..." video either. You seem to basically be saying "buy it"

Hello. I am using xgimi rs pro 3.
I'm having a problem with it being very quiet at the beginning of use, then after more than an hour or two of use, the noise gets really loud and interferes with watching videos. It's distracting.

I'm new to beam project, is this normal?

Still has the same issues I mentioned before. No light up remote. And no HDMI HDCP 2.2 support. So you can’t stream on their projectors in 4K from Roku or any other streaming device that uses the 4K HDMI HDCP 2.2 copy protection protocol…

Does this projector support eARC for a Sonos ARC setup?

⁠I bought it and sent it back. I think we both know the black levels just aren’t amazing enough for a home theatre projector. Plus at that price point, it has no lens shift at all and personally I like to have a perfectly flat image so I get the best picture and that just wasn’t possible with this projector. The Benq W2710 which was released this year is far better choice for a dedicated space. It has three HDMI ports and in my opinion a better 4K image AND lens shift. If you don’t mind having the projector slightly off centre and being forced to use keystoning and thus reducing the quality of the image, then go ahead and buy this projector.

Oh and no adjustable feet for angling OR screw holes for mounting 😂😂😂. Stick with the best. Epson and Benq.

This guy sounds like he got PAID buy XGIMI. Lol. Please do not trust anything he is saying. I bought this projector myself when it first came out. It wasn’t given to me by XGIMI. What I can say from my personal experience is that it had soooo many inconsistencies. The heat that this thing blow from the back was super hot! The input lag on the remote control when controlling Android TV was so laggy and frustrating. The Lens that goes down when turning on the projector was making a weird motorizing noise after my 3rd day of use. Only 2.0 USB & HDMI, which doesn’t make it future proof and the biggest lie from this guy is the blacks! Lmao.. the black was not black. The contrast on this projector is really bad. Oh and no this is not the first lifestyle projector with Dolby Vision. Another lie. The Hisense C1 is the first lifestyle projector with Dolby Vision. The only thing I would agree with manshed, is how beautiful the packaging and projector is. Aside from all of that, I got this projector when it first came out then I ended up buying the Hisense C1 after watching @thehookup YouTube comparison video, and how much he praised the Hisense C1, he wasn’t wrong. I ended up getting it myself to compare with the XGIMI horizon ultra 4K and I ended up loving my Hisense C1 much more that I ended up returning the Xgimi. The Hisense C1 blows the XGIMI out of the water with picture quality itself. And it pretty much supports all video formats, which is unheard of.. (SDR, HLG, HDR, HDR10, HDR10+ and DOBLY VISION with DOLBY ATMOS. Trust me guys… if you want the best lifestyle projector of the year than do yourself a favor and get the Hisense C1. You will not be disappointed. Oh and it also comes with certified preinstalled Netflix. Non of that side loading BS.

This ain't a native 4K projector, but full HD with pixel shifting. add few more hundreds dollar and you get XGIMI short throw projector which is native 4K.
