Good instrument. It's not like some modern copies that try to make fortepiano sound like a modern piano to fit the pianists' taste. The sound of the original fortepianos are more similar to harpsichord, only more percussive and shorter. One should bear in mind that in the 18th century people were used to the sound of the harpsichord and that the fortepiano was nothing else but a "clavicembalo con forte e piano", which explains why keyboard music could be played on both instruments.
