This prehistoric shark lived approximately 2.6 million years ago and went extinct around 2.6 million years ago. It was estimated to be around 60 feet long and weighed up to 100 tons, making it larger than any shark that exists today.

If the Megalodon was still alive today, it would have a significant impact on the ocean's ecosystem. As a top predator, it would likely disrupt the food chain and cause a ripple effect throughout the entire ocean. It would also pose a significant threat to humans, as it would be capable of attacking and killing people.

If Megalodon was still around today, you wouldn't catch me anywhere near the Ocean.

It would cancel the hell out of some Carnival cruises.

If it did adapt I think the meg and the orcas would keep each other in check. It’d be like grizzly’s with wolves.

If megaladom exist people wouldn’t be their primary prey as we are too small. They would most like eat whales, giant squids, other sharks, and probably attack ships mistakenly for food. To add, megladons are so big, it would be almost impossible for a fully grown one to to come near the shore. I personally wouldn’t be going 2 foot deep at the beach tho lol

Wanna know what’s more terrifying than the Megaladon? Us. Humans.

Megalodons wouldn't attack humans ever. We are not worth the effort, they need way larger sources of food.

People forget that animals are not as vindictive and monstrous as humans, a shark takes no pleasure in killing. It simply does it to eat, to survive.

One of the most likely theory's of why megalodon went extinct is because it couldn't complete with modern more agile sharks in an ocean where everything was decreasing in size.

If it was created then it was meant to be. All things were created for a purpose.

The scary part is they could probably be at the very bottom of the ocean. We haven’t explored really any of the ocean so there is a chance they are down there somewhere

Orcas would make a meal out of its liver. There are far and few creatures that can hold its own against a pod of Orcas. Sharks are prey to them.

Meg 1 and Meg 2 The Trench are great movies but Meg 2 The Trench is the best one out of the 2

It would disrupt the food chain for sure. And I believe it would adjust to the ocean change over time when coming up to feed from the environment it has survived in for so long.
