Wie sieht es mit einer Outlook Alternative aus?

Über OpenOffice braucht man keinen Gedanken mehr verlieren. Es liegt zwar noch auf dem Apache-Server, aber das Projekt wird seit ~2016 nicht mehr weiter entwickelt.

Lediglich ~2017 bekam es ein "Wartungs-Release" (steht aber noch immer bei Version 4.x)

Und gilt seit Ende 2019 offiziell als abgebrochenes Projekt.

Selbst wenn sich heute noch Entwickler finden sollten, die das Projekt weiterführen wollten, so ist es bereits technisch so weit überholt, das dieser Abstand uneinholbar ist.
Von OpenOffice ist praktisch nur noch der Name übrig geblieben. Den will Apache aber nicht frei geben (warum auch immer, denn Geld kann man damit ja nicht mehr verdinen).


LibreOffice gilt deshalb als weltweit anerkannte Alternative:
