My favorite Captain Crunch commercials were the ones that I grew up with. It would always start with a bunch of kids being bored doing something either at the house or at school. And then a big pirate ship would either crashed through the house or crashed through the school yard and Captain Crunch would transport these kids to a animated land fun activities to do then he would let them take a bite of the Captain Crunch cereal for like 2 seconds and then send them back to their boring lives not clean up any of the damages and just leave. Those were the most fun for me

Speaking of the 90's, you could probably do a Top 5 of all the "novelty/cash grab" cereals. Nintendo, Ninja Turtles, & as Brad pointed out, Batman... so many to choose from!

My favorite cereals as a kid were Honey Bunches of Oats, Reese's Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Frosted Shredded Mini-Wheats.

In my country American cereals usually get the mascot they had at the time they presently had in the USA at the time they were first adapted and never change it, so our stores can be quite nostalgic for the tourists.

Personally I eat cornflakes, either sugar free cornflakes as breadcrumb coating for chicken and turkey meat (which is crunchier than using bread), or normal cornflakes, covered in chocolate as cookies. Nothing with milk really except maybe sometimes Lion cereal which isn't nostalgic.

I miss the old Trix, the iteration right before they introduced the fruit shapes in the mid 90s. Also Honey Nut Clusters were a staple of my early 20s.

I haven't had them all. Always wanted to try cookie crisp, and the oreo cereal. Just never have.
