It has been 30 years since he died, and the 3 TV series that he was in, are still being shown on TV! That is lasting star power! I cannot ever recall any profanity or vulgarity with any of his characters - that would be SO refreshing in these wicked times we live in, where anything goes! You are missed, Michael!

I can't believe it's been like almost 35 years now. Insane. Feels like yesterday.

0:48 Such a great sense of humor in this terrible situation... he just makes everybody laugh - and yes, it is dark, but damn funny 😄 I think he was such a wonderful person, I still enjoy his TV-shows today. They are timeless.

It's so tragic that he died so young....54 is no age at all. My own father died at 56 - and he had so much to live for, and so did Michael Landon. My father died when I was 27. I am now 50. Entering the same decade they perished in. Looks after your health folks. x

My first memory of Michael Landon was from the back seat of my parent's car at the drive-in watching "I Was a Teenage Werewolf." Next was Little Joe Cartwright and then every other show he ever created.

In the 70s it came out that he wasn't a perfect man by any means, which the tabloids were more than happy to beat us over the head with.

By the late 80s and 90s, I had my own busy life with no time for prairies or angles anyway. And then one day I hear Michael Landon had died and I felt like I had been hit in the gut. My reaction even shocked me. I don't know why and I could never explain it, but I couldn't watch a show with ML in it for years because I truly mourned the death of Michael Landon.

Trust me, I am not one to care about people in Hollywood. Bunch of perverted, child molesting, eating disorder egotists who can't make it thru their day w/o their plastic surgeon and therapist.

But when ML died I mourned.

I remember this news. It really sucks when people have so much and loose it early in life.

It's terrible when your body lets you down. Even worse when you let your body and yourself down... he looked and must have been petrified and sad at the same time, I know i would be! And having so much to live for and to do... gone too soon, way too soon! RIP Angel Michael 💙
