This band came to my school and they were all such lovely people. I managed to play loads of pieces with them

Travelled about a 100 miles to see these guys play at 'The Grand Venue' in Clitheroe, Lancashire on Friday November 28th 2014 and they didn't disappoint.  In fact they were abso-bleedin-lutely awesome.  Great show guys if you are reading.  Quite funny when the Steve Pretty asked if some of the audience had turned up expecting to see a regular colliery band and quite a few hands went up in the air.  Most of them did stay though and seemed to enjoy the performance, but two old girls next to us got up and left after a few tunes.

Man been looking for some good new jams for a while.  Was really lucky to get into Youngblood Brass Band over a decade ago and their song movement rattled off a few great bands which lead to more but like all networks it got tapped out.  The Guardian introduced me to these guys to which I'm really grateful
