I bought the Peak a couple days ago in Cash converters £800 I have software sythersizors that can make anything really but I bought the Peak for fun and because I wanted a high quality machine that sounds great and its gona be great live.

How does this compare to the sound of the Hydrasynth?

I’m sending mine back because it won’t sync accurately to external clock at all which is ridiculous considering it’s their flagship that sounds amazing.there is no utility for lfo modulation, the loopable envelopes, or the arpeggiator to sync everything to absolute accuracy from external devices without using ableton link or free temp recording and a bunch of extra software to accomplish that. Firmware update ? Nope novation says … just use an external sequencer . Excuse me but it has an arpeggiator so why can’t it sync to clock accurately. It’s not even shown on their website anymore for available products just the peak hmmm I wonder why? Sync to clock is the most Important function for synth enthusiasts. It’s a really annoying problem so it’s getting sent back . There are many synths that use a key down advanced tap tempo and this is one of them . Novation dropped the ball just short of the goal line . Very sad
