I don't understand why someone would visit a beach and expect people to not wear a bikini

1. FYI some of these girls are minors
2. If this man felt convicted to tell the girls they need to be modest…. Okay fine. But I agree with you, when the girls say “leave me alone” it means “leave me alone”. I think as humans we have a right to say “no I don’t want to have this conversation.” Especially grown men approaching you.
He would not leave them alone. He harassed them-period.

Him bothering those girls literally just gave them a horrible experience with Christians none of them got saved they’re definitely gonna stay away from the church he just caused an argument that’s all it just wasn’t appropriate just not the time and place

To be honest, I think that making a big deal out of "protecting" young children from seeing a woman in a bikini is already planting the idea in their mind that women's bodies are inherently sexual, and that they should be able to place the responsibility for their thoughts and actions on those women. If the kid is reacting inappropriately somehow to seeing women in a bathing suit or whatever, teach them how to manage their own thoughts and feelings. Don't teach them that you should go confront them and demand that they change what they're doing. And tbh I really wonder if those kids even noticed the women and their bathing suits, or if it was all about the adults feeling uncomfortable with the situation even if the kids couldn't care less. Just my two cents.

I was also very uncomfortable with the man not going away when asked to. I don’t believe Jesus would have behaved that way.

he shouldn’t have walked up to those girls whatsoever. it’s not his place to impose his views on random girls and make them feel uncomfortable, at that point it’s harassment especially when he wouldn’t go away after they begged him to. dress modestly if that’s your thing, but don’t make others feel bad for not agreeing. it’s ridiculous and honestly really weird that he cared that much.

Women's bodies are not "pornography". The women were peacefully relaxing on the beach and he had no reason to bother them. It's unbelievable that in this day and age we still haven't normalized that people have BODIES and that not every inch of your skin, especially women's, is sexual. Let people live and relax on the beach.

Don’t wanna get fired? Don’t harass women on the beach. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. 🤷🏽‍♀️

He needs to seek therapy to confront his trauma in being exposed to pornography at a young age. Projecting that trauma onto people at the beach who are dressed in appropriate beachwear is not okay.

This is disgusting. He can’t keep his eyes to himself and just not look at these young ladies?! Gross. Why do men think it’s a woman’s responsibility to keep them “pure”. Keep your eyes, hands n dicks away from the women you think dresses provocatively. They are at a beach!!! Harassing strangers at the beach about being in a bathing suit is just really inappropriate and he sounds like a creep. He can teach his little group of people to NOT LOOK at them. It is not his place to tell strangers what to do with themselves and not everyone has to be a conservative Christian. That’s our right to decide what religion or lack there of we follow. That man had no right to push his agenda on them!!

He was a grown man who harassed a group of very young girls who repeatedly told him to leave them alone. What he did was gross and creepy

Hmm! I would like to know how the guy on the beach would have reacted to a muslin man coming up to him and saying that his wife should be covered up from head to toe, as the muslin man found it offensive.

If you wouldn’t want random strangers berating you for your choices about getting/not getting vaccinated, then you should also be totally against this.

That is crazy. I am a believer . And he had NO right to go up to those non believing women. They are not held to the same standard. That is not his place to judge . That is not going to bring people to Jesus.

That guy did NOT have pure motives by doing this. It definitely seemed like a self-righteous power trip disguised as "evangelism."

He needed to just mind his business. Lots of people think women in pants is immodest. Should they be confronted too?

A few thoughts I have: this man seems more ready to blame women for his lust then “pluck out his right eye” if it causes him to sin per Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew. He has authority to teach his children, lead his wife, speak in the church, give general opinions, move to a different spot on the beach, and so forth. But to go up to women he does not know, who are not Christians, and not share the GOSPEL AT ALL, suggests he doesn’t care about their souls, he’s blame shifting. If I were dressed in an outfit I thought was modest, even as a Christian, and a man pointed out that he thought it was immodest, and I didn’t know him, I’d immediately feel uncomfortable because I would feel like he is saying he sees me lustfully and that’s on me, that he doesn’t care to control his thoughts and maybe even actions.

i'm sorry to say but some men need to understand that a woman's body in her everyday life is not the same as pornography

Isn’t Paul’s philosophy on masks that if you are sick (or vulnerable) you should stay home, but no one else should have to wear a mask to protect you? You should stay home to protect yourself if you aren’t able to live in a mask-less world? What about that approach with women’s clothing, if you are struggling with lust or controlling your thoughts you should stay home, but no one else should have to wear certain clothing to protect you… 🥴 Paul I think you need to choose one side of the fence, either we all have our own freedoms to do what we want and it’s not on other people to protect us, or we all have a responsibility together to protect each other. Which one is it?
