Soloist | The Everyday Breakaway Bike

The Soloist. It’s a name from deep in our history, but immediately familiar to anyone with bike racing memories extending back to the early-2000s. It was the weapon of choice for top World Tour contenders on CSC and the Cervelo Test Team, and we’re bringing it back for a new generation. The new Soloist is designed for the week-in, week-out rider and racer who can only justify one high-performance bike. It balances light weight and aerodynamic advantages to deliver a bike that really is 'just right'. Soloist comes in a hair lighter than S5, but significantly more aerodynamic than R5, and borrows the threaded bottom bracket standard you find on the R5-CX. It’s a race bike that can accommodate mechanical and electronic shifting, can hammer out the training miles in all weather, and yet still has the chops to leap off the front at that decisive moment. That’s the Soloist.

As someone who bought a then10 year old soloist as my first (the one I still ride today) bike nearly 8 years ago. I am HYPED to see this new iteration. It looks incredible

Owner here of an Áspero 2020 with problems on the steering. Headset gets disadjusted frequently and handling in descents is close to dangerous. Tryed to proceed with warranty with my seller so that Cervelo checks my frame. The answer was that with no apparent damage there’s no possibility to check the frame… I said the seller to pay in advanced for sending my frame to Cervelo so that they can check it. I got a no as a response. Got in touch twice with the brand via email explaining the situation. No response at all. My only choice is to spread my case via social media and consumer protection organization here in spain to try and solve the issue. It’s a shame that such a premium brand offers that bad after sale service. I hope that at least here I’ll get an answer.

I loved the flash of Michele Bartoli's original red soloist. Planning to release a special edition of the new soloist with that paint job...?

I own a 2020 cervelo S3, and I’m interested in the soloist. Is the soloist gonna be an upgrade over the S3? Is it more aero? Kinda bummed about the alloy handlebar though. The S3 came with carbon handlebar (and alloy stem). The soloist frameset doesnt include the stem. Also, since it has D shaped steerer, is it safe to use conventional stem? Thanks

Guys from cervelo, if you read this comment, please bring back the Oasis colorway and add it for the soloist model as well, as it is divine and many took it because of it. The current color schemes sucks
