For fluid solidifier rotors, it's always exactly *17* ingots per 4 rotors, hence:

17 --> 4
34 --> 8
68 --> 16
etc.

No need for AE2

Here's a fluid management tip that blew my mind... You can right click on the smeltery drain block with an empty cell (the kind that can hold any amount of fluid) and it will pick up the melted metal in the smeltery. No need to wait for MV to melt down iron in a fluid extractor.

12:31 the fastest way is vanilla smelting array on minecarts with hoppers, but then refueling furnaces with steam is MUCH more convenient :-)
