On that day - 24/01/22, a statement from the Duke of Gordon (agentMADMAN) and the general staff reads:

I shall put it plainly- our loadouts have been removed from campaigns.

It brings me great sadness and anger to announce this. They were removed in the blink of an eye last night by the one person who had the malice and motivation to do so- GeneralGory.
Gory did not even have the bravery or the moral courage to tell us this himself. He is a petty and callous individual who has done this to be cruel. If you ask why this has happened, there is no reason. Gory removed us because he didn't want us in the game and the fact that hundreds of you enjoy and love participating in EGB means absolutely nothing to him. His reasoning for not wanting the 2nd largest nation in the game? We can only speculate.

We in the General Staff, and indeed His Majesty the King, have tried our very best and are still trying despite this setback to reason with this man- there is no reasoning with him as of yet, regardless we shall persist in our efforts to ensure that the future of EGB is sure and steadfast despite the actions of this petty tyrant.

I am sorry. I cannot thank you enough for your personal efforts in making this group what it is today and it almost makes me despair that this man has disregarded your hard work and your struggles for his own vacuous agenda.
We will never give up the fight and we will never stop the struggle, because, we are loyal to you guys in the same way that you are loyal to us- in the same way that we are all loyal to each other as comrades, soldiers and friends.

As dire as this may seem, I must encourage you all to stay true to EGB for as long as possible. Do not give in to foreign malefactors or dm recruiters (report all the scum to me). Do not give in to despair or to ruination- we are NOT alone. Many people in this community have been angered by these actions and perhaps,

The new world with all its power and might, shall step forth, to the rescue and liberation of the old!

To all the people coming here, the reason for EGB's removal from the genre was because there were already 2 nations identifying as Britain. EGB and BA, apparently EGB was the one chosen for removal since their agreement with Gory to be a nation in the genre was only temporary and there was no plan of making it into a permanent thing. Gory said he doesn't want 2 Great Britains rolling around. I heard there were offers to just merge the 2 Britains but one side decided not to budge. Correct me if I'm wrong but this is what I remembered when I first got the news about 1-2 years back (can't be bothered to check when exactly). The OG Kingdom of Italy also left the genre in protest and also attempted to make their own genre but failed and simply died out.

EGB is really more better when it comes to being friendly and approachable, I once ruled Portugal and allied with EGB because rulecy doesn't really care that much about us, whenever we got battles and needed backup we always have EGB on our back ready to aid

Loved EGB, being kicked from NW was the straw that broke the camel’s back unfortunately.

Started off in the 42nd, was 2iC of the 17th on start up; Commanded the Rifles until February ‘21. Next Regimental assignment was in the 87th, then the Rifles/17th as a Major.

As a person who didn't become active in NW until early-mid 2022, this is interesting to see. I didn't even know that there were 2 British nations 💀 but yeah, thank you for the info.

PS: I personally don't think Gory is a bad person, but this situation seemed to be handled very poorly

The Italy I was in died with it. The staff wouldn't accept it, and protested it. However, the BA knew it from the start, that they would stay temporarily.

i saw in EGB when the battle starts they are hype and excited but in present BA they are just like "Ok lets go" without no hype

To be honest we all miss EGB as the 2nd largest nation in the genre and until now I am still hoping for the return of the mighty EGB although it's been 3 years now since they are removed from the genre EGB will still be the best British Army we ever had in the genre.

i know a lot of people from EGB before it was disbanded but surprisingly a lot of them joined Legion Erzherzog Karl which is in the austrian empire rather than BA for some reason
