in Italy the monthly salary is 0 euros because no jobs, so naturally you pack your things and go to Germany which is 45minute by plane and do what German people don't want to do...sad but true, we used to do very well in the past, I guess this is over.

I am happy Portugal has been ncreasing its salaries since 2003, when I studied there. I remember that everything back then was half compared to Italy: salaries, food, the cost of a single room in a university area

The one for Greece is a little bit off. The people usually take 600-700 euros. The one for Bulgaria is accurate. The one of Germany is a bit off. Ireland and the UK is wrong as well, the average person takes about 1500-1700 euros in these countries. I don't know about the rest.

I can be wrong, but am not convinced these are all true numbers. Also, salary after tax is not necessarily an accurate number, because it doesn't take into consideration the tax-rates, size of government/social welfare etc.The most accurate numbers are income before taxes, because they explain how much you earn, not what you have left after taxes.

In the Eastern Europe, there is a shadow economy, when the companies pay more than a half of salary secretely "in an envelope" in order to avoid taxation. So the official figures do not depict correctly the real situation.

belgium normal salary after taxes is not 2129, you need a master degree minimum to get paid that amount. i would say more around 1500 - 1600 knowing there is many people getting paid 1200 - 1400 euro/month

I don't know if it's horizontal listing or the salary amount, but when it came to those last three, I began to feel dizzy. If former, then great special effect, my friend.
