Intel GPUs have been getting faster with every driver update, and now they have reached a point where they are significantly faster than when they launched. Not only that, but Intel Arc GPUs have been getting price cuts from some retailers increasing the value further. To make things even better these Intel GPUs such as the Arc A750 and A770 can now be paired with Intel CPUs to bring the price down even further making them excellent choices for new PC builds, but what does this mean for battlemage, and should you actually buy one of the bundles or systems… Let’s talk about it.

Intel is really stepping up their game with their driver releases... biggest initial misstep was not having good driver support for DX 9-11 but it is great that they are continually improving their product offerings. I think they have a ways to go though in terms of cooler and fan design. GPUs needs to be more easily serviceable (easier disassembly), fans should be better optimized for airflow (larger fans are certainly welcome), also don't box in areas of airflow intake and exhaust. Would be interesting to see Sapphire and/or Evga work with intel on a joint venture some time in the future.

Don't reward PC hardware companies by calling their products "fine wine". They are not fine wine. They are unfinished products on release. They are just as guilty as game developers for releasing unfinished video games. Both deserve criticism and shame. Imagine paying full price for a bottle of wine and receiving grapes.

Honestly if it were 600 bucks for Battlemage and it had 4070 Ti performance, that is quite literally just an on par generational upgrade that we would expect at that price point. Essentially a 4070 Ti minus some features, for 200 dollars less after a generation. That should be what we expect. But at a 500 dollar price point, I will buy a darn Battlemage GPU.

I am definitely buying the next Intel Arc GPU series. I want an upgrade from my RTX2080 and waited through the mining craze/pandemic to get one. AMD and Nvidia could use the competition

The drivers were probably fully up to date when that system was initially assembled. Updates probably came out afterwards

Don't say this often, but fair play to Intel I think most people would run updates as a matter of course. KB/Mouse gets you going at least. It's really good to see a genuine 3rd GPU manufacture and long over due.

I dont know if this is true but i heard that if you combine intel arc with intels cpu the igpu snd gpu will be working together and produce more fpd

I currently own a msi 3060ti gamng x trio and things are not looking good for me at 1440p. I honestly dont know what to buy that will last for atleast another 3 years.

ARC cards sound really good but lately (at least in the UK) amd has dropped their prices so much that it’s better to go with them and get the same price but with get better performance or save money for the same performance, for example the A750 on its own costs 240 but for 250 you can get a 6650XT which is faster and doesn’t have the worse performance in older games.

Intel cards continue to fall in price for the simple fact that they are still not selling in large quantities.

Not to be rude or anything, but you can bring together an awesome rtx 4070 system with 1500 dollars Or maybe 4070ti if you can cut some corners. 13600k is overkill and a770 is hot garbage for 1500 dollars. At this point after all gpu launches, a770 is "meh" at best. Love your contents, keep up the good work!
