All videos are on hold due to a domestic crisis I'm having! Playsessions and videochat sessions are all cancelled until further notice.

I honestly don't know when this is going to resolved, but I do intend to return once my living situation has stabilized. Sorry about this, I'm not happy about it either!

Hey ross. as a construction engineer that had to fight with mold myself i would suggest you following things (sorted by effectiveness):
1. get rid of those wet clothes in your flat, get a washing machine that has a drying function built into it. that will get you 70% of the way. (IMPORTANT: get a good brand and a model that is not older than 3 years. i had my fair share of experience with those dryer combos)
2. get the habit of opening ALL the windows twice or thrice a day for 5-10 minutes! and open the window of the room you use the most every 4 hours. you have to do this even after the mold problem is gone. some flats are just so poorly built that you have to do this to stop mold from growing. (even in winter !)
3. get an ELECTRIC dehumidifier.
4. clean the mold spots with some aggressive solution and a brush. let the solution soak in a few minutes.

if you do these 4 steps i guarantee your mold problem will stop in the next few days. just keep on ventilating by opening the windows all the way multiple times a day (so often that it almost seems ridiculous) and letting the dehumidifier running at least 10 hours a day as long as you stay in that flat.

and by the way, those black/green/brown spots on the outside of the buildings. those are algea and dirt. mold does not thrive in a well ventilated area like the outdoors. mold needs high humidity and darkness.

also get a hygrometer and mount it on the spots where the mold was, about 50% humidity if ideal for the humans. never let it go above 60% or you will get mold on the walls.

I brushed my hair for this, it didn't matter.

Next video: Ross's Dungeon.

Just that. Ross moves into an actual dungeon.

Thanks tremendously for all the support. I made this just hoping for some understanding from everybody while I go dark and it looks like I'm getting that in spades. I've abandoned the idea of staying here any longer than I have to and will be working towards simply getting out of here ASAP (and get a building inspector to look at my next place). I also have air filters since making that and am looking into a dehumidifier. This will take some time and I plan to minimize my computer usage until I have a clean environment, but I'll try to respond to all emails once I do. Thanks again!

Mold and electrical issues at the same time reeks very much of water, be it from rain or a leaking pipe, getting into the walls. That could turn out to be a massive problem with the building itself and likely wouldn't be done with a little renovation here and there.
Ventilation may be bad, but I fear that the mold you see *on* the walls may only be the tip of the iceberg.

Ross, it's not normal for inspectors to come to your apartment and effectively rule it unfit for *breathing* in. No wonder the clothes don't dry. It looks like you're right about the building as a whole, too. I think the source is in the walls of the building itself. I'd say I hope you can move soon, but I think the better word here is 'evacuate'. I'm sorry to hear everything got so difficult, please look after yourselves and have a doctor's checkup after you move out.

"I'm not an architectal exptert"
Well I'm a soon to be construction engineer, and have my fair share on working on construction sites. From what you said, that house sounds and even looks like it was build the most cheap way possible. I assume the workers were paid accordingly. This wasn't build to last, your only choise is to move. Good luck and greetigns from Germany.

Somewhere between the "mystery holes", the mysterious black and yellow fungi and the electrical problems, I'm starting to think Ross is the protagonist of... something. I don't know WHAT, but something, most non-protagonist people don't have holes to nowhere in their walls.

It's dark, damp and has mold growing in it. Isn't that normal for a dungeon?

"Magne, do you have anything you would like to add?"

She's a keeper, Ross.

Also, don't feel bad about the lack of videos. I've always said quality over quantity, so take as long as you need to stop the mushroom uprising.

Next time you upload, we'll see that you have mutated into a talking mushroom and your channel will be called Ross's Spore Dungeon. You'll be obsessed with video game mushrooms like those enemies from Secret of Mana.

Either way, I think we'll still be watching. Take care of yourself in the meantime.

When I heard domestic crisis I thought there was a problem with the marriage already. So it's better to hear that cordyceps are growing in your apartment complex. Also learned that Ross isn't a professional vlogger.

No advice to the issue as when I experienced mold the way we got rid of it was to tear up the floor to find the source, and you kinda can't do that in an apartment.

It's a good thing Ross only really wants the simple things in life.

Sustainable food and shelter, air, a country that's not terrifying to move back to...
You wouldn't think he's being too demanding.
