United Nations - It is estimated that more than 80% of adults with autism are unemployed.

Research suggests that employers are missing out on abilities that that people on the autism spectrum have in greater abundance than “neurotypical” workers do – such as, heightened abilities in pattern recognition and logical reasoning, as well as a greater attention to detail.

The hurdles that need to be overcome to unleash this potential include: a shortage of vocational training, inadequate support with job placement, and pervasive discrimination.

I'm glad the UN has this video, but it needs a huge updated version. Please represent the full range of people of the ASD spectrum, as well as minorities including more women. Also, for many of us, the disability is not ASD or but attitudes, bias and lack of understanding. There are more and more people on the spectrum with University educations and the fact that today, we owe many innovations and discoveries to ASD individuals is over looked by this video.
