My favorite line with Trundle is in LoR when Nocturne says “Your club will….melt?” And he replies with it’s such a random interaction but I think it’s hilarious

I absolutely love the fact that both males and females of his species look very similar to one another and don't have that much differences. They are all big, muscular humanoid creatures.

Also, I want to see more interactions between Trundle and Lissandra. I think they have great chemistry no matter how much the tall lady dislike him.

I greatly dislike how Riot greatly hidden much of the original lore for their champions, as Trundles original rework bio is no longer up on the League client lore page.


Trundle wasn't just slightly-clever troll, his entire character hinges on a mix of cunning and brute strength. His quote was "Outsmart anyone you can't beat, and beat anyone you can't outsmart" for a reason. He didn't just wander aimlessly, he specifically sought out a magic/fantastical weapon that he could use to further his own station in life. And when he wound up in Lissandra's domain he specifically sought to steal some powerful artifact of hers, coming upon the club of True Ice. When LIssandra went out to kill him for his thievery, he initiated a Trade deal. Trundle receives 1 club of True Ice, one insignificant weapon that Lissandra doesn't have much use for, and Lissandra receives a Troll army in exchange. If she says no...she just get's a dead troll corpse. This lore takes nothing away from Lissandra, and came out when she did, but to remove it simply takes away all the wonderful character Trundle has. He's not just some dumb brute who is "slightly more intellegent", he's a cunning trickster who happens to play as one of the beefiest racial options. He uses the perception of his racial stupidity to his advantage, which is far above "slightly less stupid" if you ask me.

What I love of his design is that he's not supposed to be the strongest troll, but the smartest and not being as big as nautilus gives that impression of him winning by outsmarting the other trolls, not just overpowering them

I would say that Trundle is actually pretty clever, even by human standards. He might not be the most well-read person but very cunning. Not to mention, his story was hillarious.

One of the main reasons i main singed and trundle is that their dances are so bm i love them, cancelling someone's autoattack with pillar to make them lose a cannon for the fifth time while spamming dance and mastery 5 to tilt them into oblivion will never get old for me

One thing I like is how you mention character details that one normally wouldnt think about. It never crossed my mind that Trundle wasnt a hulking beast like other trolls.

I prefer trundles wiry build to his beefcake design in lor because I always thought from the stories he's gotten that he rose to power not just through brute force but also from managing to out smart the other trolls, which is shown better in the smaller stature he has in regular league imo

I still love how they made the splash of his traditional skin needlessly sexy. Not that monsterfuckers needed anything more than his base skin, but it is a nice gesture. Like Riot saying "We see you, monsterfuckers. We appreciate you".

I love Trundle's design and color scheme. I think it really works without getting too crazy, and it makes me play him a lot despite one of the simplest kits in the game.
