Flipside (8-Bit Remix) - Super Paper Mario

This song makes me think of those dang trading cards. I got totally addicted to collecting them, as you might expect.

===General Info===

My artwork is not meant to be a 100% accurate 8-bit image. It's simply there to go along with the music, so I occasionally bend the rules.

My chiptune music is meant to emulate the 2A03 chip, which has two square channels, one triangle channel, one noise channel, and a sample channel.

Saw Super Paper Mario - Instantly clicked. Personally my favourite 2D mario, the gameplay, story and music was some of the best I've ever seen/heard.

The concept of the same theme playing at different graphics levels being around that void just gave me this crazy idea for an indie game:
The world is dealing with a destructive force that is eating away at the fabric of the universe, and the worse it is, the lower the game's graphics to go. Somewhat like the Messenger in that each area plays different song styles of the same themes for different graphics; but different in that there is less to no time-travel, a 3rd graphic style to rep modern games, and a gimmick where weaker graphics actually limits your range of abilities.
I actually don't have the time or resources to even consider making an indie game, but I'd love it if someone picks this idea up and goes ham with it.

Man, nostalgia really hits me hard. Watching Let's Plays of how the heck get past levels such as Merlin's mansion (god darned 2-4, you gave me arachnophobia) and spening most of the time in the Flipside, the hub world. Ahhh, such simple times.
