Seems like everyone is enjoying on a hot day.

Seeing my home town like this after so long, it was 1973 when I left Brighton for the last time. Thought of going back, was just too emotional and I´m 68 now.
The town was so charming and green back then, seeing so many day trippers and why are there so many young people smoking?
The women have lost the soft clear English Brighton was known for. I can only hear the cockney slang and bad grammar when passing people?
I don´t recognize one shop, except "The Queens Head" outside the main station, which looked like a cyanotic nightmare!
Nice to see bike paths on the narrow roads, not that there is room for them.
I remember why I moved to Sweden now, no stress, no litter, no crowds and no traffic. Yet Brighton was always going to change and it brings tears to see
it´s magic has gone. Thank you for sharing.

To be quite honest though, I don't think it's a brilliant beach. It's all pebbles for one thing, which are very uncomfortable to walk on or sit on, and it's dead straight with no cliffs or a picturesque bay or anything. Weymouth is much better 😇
