EXOTIC Guitar MODE?! - Mixolydian b2 b6 (Phrygian Dominant)

Musicians need to know this:
besides the Major scale having 7 modes (Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Halen, Locrian), there are 3 other scales that each have 7 modes. The Harmonic Minor, the Melodic Minor, and the Harmonic Major scale also each have 7 modes.
This video is about the 5th mode of the Harmonic Minor scale called PHRYGIAN DOMINANT; it’s called that because it’s like the Phrygian scale but with a major 3rd (1-b2-3-4-5-b6-b7).
It’s a good scale to use over a V7 to i (that small letter “i” means Minor).
So for say G7b9 going to Cmin, you would use that scale. The “B” that’s the 3rd in that Phrygian Dominant scale is also the leading tone, the 7th, of the C scale. The b6 of G is Eb which is also the b3 of Cm; that’s why the Phrygian Dominant scale works so well going to a Minor tonic chord (home chord or final chord).

Like how does one know that raising the harmonic minor to the 5th degree and running it from e to e makes it a mixolydian flat 2 flat 6? Like wouldn't you think it would be called a 5th something or something like that? Is the chord progression called a 5-1 because it's the 5th note e and 1st note a of the harmonic minor scale?
