Boxes: here are the boxes I use the most. Prices can swing dramatically from week to week. Be sure to check out Amazon vs. Ebay for the best price. I always try to order in quantity of 100. I like to get boxes for less than 70 cents each (shipped), but it is getting harder and harder to do.

Learning what to buy and what to sell comes with experience. You've mentioned this in the past but pay attention to the publisher on the spine of the book. Small, independent publishers or academic publishers are often a good indication that the book is going to be worth picking up. In regards to the shipping question - I actually had someone make me an offer on a book the other day. I accepted (it was a good deal for her) and then she left a note with her payment and said (and I quote): "Sellers should pay for shipping." I was tempted to respond and say: "Says who? LOL!"

When people that I know find out that I sell books, the thing people ask me the most is "Will You sell some of my books for me?

Great advice (especially on those other channels to watch). The knowledge aspect is key - if you can scale down the amount of books to scan and you are able to pass over the ones you know won't sell it just gets you to the good ones faster. I do calculated shipping and just consider the boxes and packing supplies as necessary expenses on my end, but I like the idea of a flat rate. Do you do $4 for basically all books or just the under a pound ones? Then a flat $5 for the 2 pounders?

Time restraints have me saving this video to watch later. Still timely. Maybe you can help me out. Love the content! New subscriber. I've come across a beautifully published 22' Culinary/historic book of a culture in India I believe. Title is "They Came From Jaffna". It's new price is $100 plus. I see none used on ebay or fba. Do I wait for the future value to reveal itself? It's too nice a book to have no value. Any feedback would be awesome! Will watch this video tonight.

A little off topic. I was wondering what you put on your sold books via ebay for a return address? I have to put my home address on the package and I'm wondering if you do that too or do you have a post office box? Does it really matter?

On Ebay are you responsible for shipping items?

Take a look at your account today. Amazon just suspended and deactivated lots of small FBA bookseller accounts. I have over 200 books that were just made inactive. I had lots of sales in October 100% positive feedback and a 500 IPI rating which is not bad and all my books are now inactive and no longer approved because they are "popular".
