Victim dies after being rescued from house fire on Furby st:
Shorty after 5:00 am Saturday morning, WFPS crews responded to the 600 block of Furby st for reports of a house fire.
Crews arrived and found heavy smoke coming from the home. Crews rescued 3 people from the home. All 3 were transported to hospital. 2 in stable condition and 1 in critical condition.
The victim in critical condition, an adult male has since succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation is continuing by members of the homicide unit. A autopsy is pending.
