Vuillaume, generally pronounced is "Vee - yorm" . But I knew who you were talking about, it's alright. That model sounds great!
I have many friends from university who had all sorts of different Jay Haide violins and violas - they sounded great in the first year, not as powerful in the second year, and in the violin's third year....it was time for an upgrade. These violins don't get better in sound generally.
Certainly it's a wonderful sound, but make sure you buy/borrow a new one just before your recital! If you play Brahms or Shostakovich or Beethoven on a "used" Jay Haide... you most probably won't be heard over the piano.
Also, *The Great* Mozart owned a Klotz, so that's something to put on your resumé if you've ever played or owned one!
