Keep in mind that the main purpose of these videos is to help folks learn harmony parts to hymns and not to sound perfect. These recordings will sound a touch raw for a few reasons; I am not a trained singer, I am using very simple recording hardware, my recording 'studio' is a coat closet that is just big enough for me to fit in. My recording process:
-Record each part on a Rode NT1-A on to a Zoom H4 recorder
-Some pitch correction in Melodyne
-Mix in Mixcraft 6
-Combine audio and sheet music in Corel VideoStudio X7

To my knowledge, most of the hymns that I record and post are public domain (except the ones I've obtained permission for). If you notice one that is NOT public domain, let me know as soon as possible so that I can take that video down.

My maternal grandfather, who died in 1932, was said to have been fond of singing this song in the morning to wake up his family before they went out to do their farm chores. They never sang this hymn in our church though. It's the same tune as "Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus", which we did sing

Thank you for taking the time to share the proper way to praise our Lord, Christ Jesus, with us here on YouTube. When I repented and was baptised to be added to His church, I didn't know the words nor rhythm, to praise Him with hymns during worship. But after googling it, I found them here, and you became my go to place.
