This is a short video about our new dyneema handrails with reflecting cover. There are many ways to install them, many versions of splicing the dyneema core ... this is how I did it.

You really need to bury a bit more of the tail inside the mainline and also taper it by pulling threads over a distance otherwise the weak point is where it suddenly goes from fat to thin. There are videos that tell you how much tell you bury depending upon the thickness of the dyneema.

Wonderful, I've not seen that method of splicing you have solved the puzzle of how to make up life lines.

Love the idea of a reflective cover.

Did you put anything extra on it where it passes through your stanchions to reduce chafe there?

You’ve taken the protective cover off the core, which now is susceptible to sun damage
