As an Indigenous First Nations man, I will always consider Aesop Rock a medicine man cut from the same spirit cloth. Some of your best songs are like really really long Native American round dance songs. Lyrically... it's like some of Nakoa Heavyrunner's songs except expressed differently. (If anyone doesn't know Nakoa Heavyrunner music, I recommend pawing through his many round dance songs on YouTube. ) Either way, this is so succinct and as Indigenous American in spirit as it gets. No offense to Supaman etc...

This EXEMPLIFIES what I LOVE about REAL HIP HOP! None shall pass was the first album I ever listened to by these cats and it changed my life. A decade later Aesop continues to be my favorite rapper/producer and for a good reason. His music transcends almost any rap music I’ve heard. LEGEND
