This short I like most so far. Maybe It's YouTube's AI presenting as I currently learn about C to G, leaving out F. "Open 5th", don't tank that's just another way to put it. You are able to make me want ot find out more. It got more than "The Entertainer"... Guess it's the E flat, magic carpet opener. Crawler (Phil Collins...) As the ending is clearly plain E, no flat.
That's a great lick i.e. progression you chose.

New viewing, new comment: I cannot "see the C sharp"/smile that should be in D7/H9.
Moreover, I wonder about the "H", however not the indicated major, being relative minor to D. Maybe 9 (why not 2nd) of the relative minor - C sharp - "inclines" to the 7 of the relative major (D major; and that might be the reason the C sharp is named 9 not 2 (of H major),
I come from singing, I think that the chromatic E flat, E, F, F sharp G at the start pictures a tenor striving for the alto range, and there is no repeating this fighting for the higher quart realm in G - A - C - D. B flat and B are left out! Maybe it would become a "hymn" if you are "running up in circles". So the "gloria" (some Sam Smith quote: I sing the 5ths) is the D as the highest attainable note (I think that's some success for any soprano) suffices. To me, there is no definition of D major here, in the sense I tried to describe.

I was able to see the C sharper, thank you for allowing me to talk "bluezzy" in your place!
