Ok, I am really glad you actually took the time to explain how it works. Most youtubers don't explain any of the machines in their tutorials and you have to figure it out yourself, which is a bit frustrating. So thank you for explaining it, it makes it so much easier to learn the different ways redstone can be used.

Extremely useful clock, combined with daylight detector to guarantee that villagers can sleep each night for a few seconds in iron farms :D!!!

Thank you for this and the explanation.

One of the best explained videos.
Most people just say the main purpose of the circuit, but the thorough explanation has helped me to really understand how stuff works so I can design my own stuff.

Just a FYI about hopper timers on multi-player servers: The actual time they take depends on the TPS of the server you play on. By default, Minecraft runs at 20tps which is 0.05 ticks per second.

Hoppers have a cool down period of 4 ticks before they can move items again.

So, that's the math you want to work with.

BUT, there is a catch; if the server is experiencing lag which lowers the TPS; the hopper clock will go slower.

BUT the good news is that it takes A LOT to lower the TPS even on servers with low ram so.... ya should be good.

BTW, most lag that players experience is client side lag due to either internet connection (high ping) or slow computers.

1 item uses 0.4 seconds so to get 30 seconds you need 75 items and for 60 seconds you need 150 and etc.
