Finally, a simple yet informative explination on the types of Chirp through hull transducer. Only thing that's lacking is explination on the type of device that uses these frequencies, location installation, and material type suited for the boat.

If running dual transducers, to merge into 1 image, how far apart can they be from each other? Also, how do you 'merge' the pictures in a Garmin 8162xsv?

hi, beautiful video.. I wanted to ask you for advice, I recently bought a lowrence hds live and I am and I don't know which type of probe to use exclusively for live trolling from 40 to 90 meters, whether imaging 3-1 or tm 165 hw, what would you recommend? .. thank you

For the HW frequency band, how do you know where to drop your line to catch the fish showing on Sounder - given that the HW beam is very wide underneath boat?

Hi Craig. I purchased a lowrance HDS Live with a 3 in 1 transducer
I want to add on a Airmar TM 260, 1 kw transducer to find fish shows on the bottom of the reef in water depth between 80 and 150 metres.
Is this the correct transducer for me.
Kind Regards Bob.
