I went to music camp with these dudes. We were all 14 years old. They were way ahead of us. The band was called Classic Touch back then.

I remember when in NYC WBLS use to play this song. We had so much fun partying off this song. Great memories of the 80's.

Dude I heard this song one time and only one time in 1982, by accident no less & never heard it again. The funny thing is I remembered every note, but didn't know who did the song. Fast forward 31 years to 10.29.2013, I clicked on this "by accident" and imagine my sa'prize when I heard this after 31 years. My friends were buggin' they could not believe I knew that song note for note and only heard it one time after 30 plus years. Kool post, Thanx.

This Is & always be a Philly Classic Banger. I went to University City High School. Block Party Music. Then Trey Lee From Southwest Philly got on the remix and made The Anthem (Party Time) that's Philly Rap. These 2 perspectives will never die in Philly. Facts ✌️

I saw them in concert back in the very early ‘80s. They opened for Patti LaBelle. They were fire. One of the band members started feeling the music and he broke out and jam his azz off on stage while the rest of the band kept playing. My man was in the zone and when I say jammed, he danced for a long time. One of the best concerts ever!

So many Philly people connected to this song, Mt. Airy stand up, it's where I'm from. I vividly remember being in Germantown walking with my mom in the 80's to Acme Market and passing a playground where guys were playing basketball with a radio blasting this song, and on the way back from the store, Let;s Hear it for the Boys by Denise Williams was playing. Good times and good memories. Boys in the yard would break dance on cardboard in the streets, times were fun and light hearted. Good days of the past growing up in Philly,

Cheyney state university, just south of POD live doing this rocked it!!!! almost thirty years later, it STILL take note, this was a live BAND with real MUSICIANS, not some autotuned, computer generated, pre-sampled, DAT file driven "Artists". Damn, I love being old

If you grew up in west oak lane or Mt airy and went to King, then you remember the Blue Cave on the corner of Haines and Stenton ave. Good times Great music. It's a Philly thing most dont understand.
