Samsung Galaxy S25 Rumors Already Getting 'Interesting'

Just when you thought we're barely through half of 2024, and yup, the amount of rumors of the Galaxy S25 is already heating up. We do know designs are usually finalized at least 7 to 8 months before a product is launched, as time is needed for manufacturing to begin, so it doesn't hurt to round up what we currently know and give you guys another Deep Dive. The industry needs a Xperia 1 periscope telephoto. Samsung needs to adopt a continuous optical zoom telephoto.

I don't care at all about any new feats or tricks by Samsung, just treat Europe fairly, please stop ripping us off with all the sluggish Exynos chips (EU should be asking millions for this deceit alone). And by the way, bring back the micro sd slot for those who want or need it (ex. offline backup etc...).

I kinda wish Samsung would release old classic models with newer hardware inside. Like relaunch the Note 7 design or Note 9 design...like some kind of retro Samsung design with updated internals...these phones are basically ALL screen. I miss seeing the beautiful colors and bezels and the home button. It would honestly give me such happy nostalgia.

Instead of the cosmetic changes, they should make useful changes for a faster charging as well as a larger battery. Cooling system also need to be improved.

I'm hoping they make a "non-oversharpened natural look" mode for the camera. They have plenty of hardware, but the processing is just too much. They could do less and get a better result.

Flat screen, same screen size, smaller bezels, slightly rounder corners, more light coming into the camera, better shutter speed, smarter S Pen baked into Gen AI, higher quality amoled screen, higher resolution front cam, better temperature management and improved battery life.

One UI is evolving rapidly in refinement, aesthetics and function. The hardware needs to level up more in quality-of-life functions.

I also agree with comments that smartphones should come in 2-year cycle upgrades

I think it was clear months ago that samsung will use a new wide angle sensor and a zoom camera with the 25u and the 0.9 inch main sensor with the 26u and that the leak of the slimmer frame, bezels is made up. You can see that the frame looks cut-out

Commenters: we don’t need a new phone every year.
Industry: cars, phones, computers, tv’s. Anything that is more profitable to be refreshed yearly, will be done that way. As a consumer, you get all the benefits with the same choice. Just don’t buy. I simply cannot grasp why people complain about what a company does. You have a choice. And far more other things to worry about, than the decisions of a tech company.
